Doors, beam usage, coloration of ceilings, plank ideas, wood vs stone and really random things.
Okay. It's truth. I love these doors.
Paneled ceiling and dark beams...... ooooooh so much love. Also, the lighting. and the curve! I LIKE IT.
White tongue and groove and white beams. White on white has never looked so good!
Beams stretching across the ceiling without laying against it? Not as awesome as I first thought but still cool.
Stove in the middle of the room?
Lyptus floor - $10
Lyptus wood. Never heard of it but it's harder than oak and apparently much more affordable (in terms of cost of growing, harvesting, etc.) for people other than the end consumer presently. I wonder how it holds a stain.
Use of tin ceiling with white beams is quite attractive.
THAT BRONZE GLAZED TIN CEILING IS UNFATHOMABLY GLORIOUS.
The high half walls
Hallways done *right*!
Writing on the wall.
The ceiling arches!
Cream and warm amber woods.
The hardware and white tonge-groove paneling.
Closet doors, not solid but with fabric behind the wooden pattern.
Above the dinning table?
Bad glass choice, but stainglass and coffered inlaid lights. Interesting.
I like the red brick floor, actually, especially with the white walls and ceiling. The continuation of the dividing column into the half wall is nice too.
This wood is dyed; not stained, not painted but dyed.
I love that front door.
Interesting paint job...
Color and beams
I really like the off-set ceiling look!
running the trim down to the windows all around the wall....
