Houzz is the new way to design your home.
how to make this work in den... mixture of light wood and grey on the one wall. light rug, grey sectional. bay window wall. no curtains.
like curtain print
cant do white couch, but this is color scheme. like purple curtains.
dramatic. have liked black window trim before. love purple in cushions.
hmmmm. would work withi black ottomon. like window coverings too. yellow pops of color. and could work withgrey wall unit
creamy beige walls. deep grey wood, mixed with light grey (or is that tan) sectional. could do fireplace like that on right side of den, balancing the window on other side.
love the splash of yellow in the sconces.
see a lot of sectionals where an open ottomon seat is inside the L-shape. Looks good... with shag rug.
think if all the walls were a deeper grey it would contrast with LR and then look good if sectional is creamy beige, shag white rug, plum or blue accents.
can do 2 matching, little corner sectionals like this which opens up a walk-thru space, too.
is this possible in built-ins?
large metallic tile. long horizontal niches that extend past built in into the wall... and lighted along them. lighting above
more asymetrical and simple lines built ins
separate color where the fireplace is... like other pic where it was stone
cleaner look if not all the asymetrical
can salvage the wood planks in den and use again
grey wall unit does not have to match wood floor
like the 2 tone on wall. wall tiles are wood. wraps around ceiling
limestone wall if not do stone
beams in... contrasting color.
gray on wall does not look country at all.
ceiling... but put in color to match woodwork
lighter wood floors. dark built iins. grey furniture
like the wood on walls, and again on ceiling. can do darker trim around windows. and bold rug
if did not want to do full wall of builtins, like how only part of wall here has the wood. then rest is drywall, with fireplace, with window to left, and the lighting on the part that is above unit. good for high ceilings.
grey wall, white wall, grey furniture, wood floor, white rug, grey curtain. i like it. maybe sectional is more beige? greige? either way, not too dark. like it.
Don't have to do all wood on celiing. Can just do the beams like this on white ceiling which looks good with light stone, wood floors.
Note the gray on wall with light stone, oak floors. All works together.
Love these mixing of colors
Same house. Wood floors. All works together
if can't do built ins, maybe do something like this where they build wall out with inset. and then shelves.
Interesting use of pebble tile around bathrm border. Not much tile other than charcoal grey in shower. Could work in master bath
what about sliding doors that can cover all or some of the space. this way open like keith likes
like the tall planters side by side
