My husband loves drawers. When we go to hotels, he is the guy who unpacks and uses the drawers. That being the case, I would love to get a pair of long dressers and sit them side by side on the main wall of the closet. One for him, one for me.
If I don’t go with the scrolled mirror, I would chose something like this. It’s mirrored jewelry storage, so it would work well in the closet.
I’m planning a paint job as part of this closet makeover. I currently have Benjamin Moore’s Stormy Sky in my bedroom and master bath, and I love the way it makes the white trim and accents pop. I think it’s the perfect color for balancing some of the more feminine touches, and it’s also very soothing.
My husband is a foot taller than I am, but he isn’t always around to reach things for me. So I love the idea of keeping a cute footstool in the closet for the high shelves. This white one would look great with the dark gray paint.
Because my closet has ugly wire shelving right now, I’m on the lookout for customizable pieces that have a solid, well-built appearance. These definitely fit the bill.
This personal valet station would be very appreciated by my guy. It has plenty of places for all the bits and bobs he keeps in his pockets and a place where he can lay out his clothing the night before. It’s a great way to streamline his getting-ready process.
I love that this valet box is also a charging station. I can’t even tell you how handy this would be for my husband’s many gadgets.
I like the idea of having a couple of lidded boxes for out-of-season items. They make attractive storage and serve a purpose, which is nice.
These have been on my wish list for a while now. They are the sweetest and most stylish little jewelry boxes, and a few of them in varied patterns and colors would make for a neutral, chic accessory.
I like to see my jewelry, so something like this would be useful.
This pouf would be a hit in the master closet. Right now there’s no place to sit down and put on shoes or pull up socks, and this knitted piece wouldn’t take up too much space and would be easy to move around as needed.
I’ve fallen pretty hard for this faux-cowhide rug. It’s cruelty free, and it would add a chic and unexpected touch in a closet, of all places. Why not?
For a bit of playfulness, I want a light fixture that doesn’t take itself too seriously. I already have this one hanging above my bed, and carrying it into the master closet might create a nice, streamlined look.
Janet Hill is one of my favorite artists, and I love adding just a hint of whimsy to each of my rooms. It keeps life from getting too serious. I can picture this print hanging in my closet with a thick white frame or maybe even a gold one.
