It can be difficult to find ways to cozy up a kitchen. Kitchens are filled with utilitarian pieces of equipment that don't necessarily warm up the space. Paint color and accessories get things going in the right direction, but have you ever considered the impact a bar stool can make? hometipster Which one to choose? All are very nice but my favorites here have to be the Winder Gibson and J&M Lifestyles designs. While both are stark contrasts to one another each has it's own unique appeal for me.

Susan Portz I LOVE the way they look but truly - are these in any way practicle? Two seats instead of a bench just works better, otherwise it's awkward when one person wants to get up and push back the bench and the other is remaining seated. I think that is particularly true of that lovely long antique bench pulled up to the kitchen island. It could seat at least three, possibly four. I guess I'm too pragmatic for this idea. Benches elsewhere are great.
