Porch weather is approaching, and many of us are looking forward to lots of lazy days sitting on our verandas. While a chair is a dandy perch, a rocker is pure relaxation. The steady back and forth of a rocker's swing is known to soothe infants, but it has equally calming effects on adults.
From modern Eames rockers to traditional ladder-back models, there's sure to be a rocking chair that suits your home's architecture. Or mix things up and put a modern rocker on a Victorian porch or a vintage wicker version in front of your prefab. Whatever you do, make sure to place your rockers far enough from your home's exterior walls to allow the chair's occupant to lean way back and relax.
