We've started purchasing the materials for our home office renovation, which means that it's go time. And by go time, I mean the stage of our renovation in which I ask my carpenter husband to create the customizations from my mile-long wish list. At the top: the built-in corkboard.
I'm a saver: snail mail, paint chips, movie tickets, blue ribbons, fabric swatches. And instead of loading my attic with shoeboxes filled with these sentimental trinkets, I'd rather pin them up to appreciate and display them. The built-in corkboard is the best solution.
By incorporating cork into the nooks and crannies of your home, you create a personal museum. Above desks, on cabinet doors or as backsplashes, built-in corkboards tell the story of our lives. Where in your home will you tell yours?
