Designing a lovely life with five children in tow. ... More
My family and I recently moved into a cute little Victorian with a wraparound porch. The mature landscaping and covered patio are a couple of my favorite aspects of our new home. One of the first things I plan on doing this spring is sprucing up the yard and hosting a garden party. Adding a new drink dispenser, twinkle lights and cozy seating will make our home party-perfect.

Serving drinks from this cute rolling cart would add a touch of whimsy to your party space.
I love this! From the cork topper to the clean design, it's pretty much the drink dispenser of my dreams.
The bold pattern and clean lines of this garden chair bring a modern twist to a traditional design.
These pretty lanterns would look lovely strung in our big trees.
I've never seen a bird feeder that I've liked so much. This glass version is modern and beautiful.
The classic design of this bench would look great with a cushion to add comfort and color.
A natural stone mat is the perfect way to welcome guests to the garden.
Reusable tear-off dinner napkins on a roll? What a genius party solution!
Adding a bit of shade for your guests is a good idea if your party begins while the sun is shining. I love the classic color of this umbrella.
It's always a good idea to have lighting on hand in case the sun sets while your guests are enjoying the conversation. These globe party lights add just the right amount of ambiance to an outdoor space.
An iron rake hook is the perfect place to hang guests' jackets.
A wall trellis is a great place to hang a party banner. This metal design would look great in any garden.
The black and white stripes on this umbrella call attention to an otherwise forgotten backyard staple.
This gorgeous handmade succulent wreath would add a nice touch of greenery to the patio.
I like the idea of creating terrariums as centerpieces on my patio picnic tables. This glass canister would be a perfect container.
Having weather-safe cushions on hand will keep guests comfortable. The cheery yellow makes me happy.
It's not really a party without great music. This handy beach radio keeps your iPod safe from spills and the sun while you enjoy the tunes.
Fire pits are great for ambiance, but also practical for early spring shindigs. Evenings cool off quickly and the fire pit will keep your guests warm.
Keeping a couple blankets nearby is a nice way to ensure guests stay cozy.
I'm a firm believer in party favors and can't think of anything more perfect for a garden party than these seed bombs bags.
