I love text in any form but as done in fabric, it's wonder-full!!
the open shelving over the bar......would be good over counter between kitchen and larger room......the glass lets thru lots of light.......no need for other open shelving
a great wood finish to contrast the white cupboards.....
I love the table's edges'''''''''rough; unfinished; forest in the home
The configuration of the 3 main spaces. I would put the LR to the right, have my eating area by the kitchen bar and window/doors.
the visual texture of the light against the wood slats is terrific.
the deep tub is incorporated well and, being by the window at eye level, gets to take advantage of any good view.
it feels cozy, espec. with the window seat (A MUST). I also like the idea of the table being there: can double as a work surface
I like the colours; window seat; potential use of table as a work table.
like the office in this 'cupboard': a surprise and a great location. make the stool a comfy chair for LR use. Closet for boots/coats as you enter: behind the office OR to left of entry
good colours.........seating area would be my 'LR". Like the TV facing the room.......I might fit much of this purple wall in cabinets-TV-Fireplace.
the simplicity of the house form; the patio & porch awning
nice combined kitchen/LR.......I'd make the kitchen into a "U" and the table into a working counter. I like the end wall and would do a texture as well, probably not that. I'd put in upper cupbrds.
the 'window seat' aspect of the couch. I would make the bookshelves into part book, part cupboard units; put actual stairs up to loft. Slightly higher couch for more spacious drawers.
I would raise the roof (2 ft if I could) but not the floor so the stairs could go up to it easily. The use of white on all the walls is a connecting idea. Inset wall drawers.
I would have my studio in this space. Take out the rear wall 1-2 ft to 10'. Have the studio go all across the back............curtains could be drawn from the door the width of the hall to make it 'tidier' or 1 side could serve as a bedroom if needed. Could be a garage if another buyer wanted that.
I like the pattern with red & linen on the couch, then having just linen on the other one, all on an oriental carpet.
what a fabulous idea: putting the fireplace in the kitchen, with chairs about and the table out of the group! I'd never think of doing this but it works.
I like the tub (if its comfortable) size.
love the simplicity of the stairs, painted white, with the numbers 1, 2,3,4 5, etc. on them, going up.
the simplicity of the shower tile and repeating it in the little cubby. However, I really also like a seat with space underneath for shampoos etc.
I like the layout & sink/toilet...........would change the tile behind the sink to a lighter colour
the wooden extended shelf is great..........& I'd put in an off-floor toilet with a mirror covering the whole of the back surface.
The flooring shows how it can warm up a mainly white space.
I've never thought of painting my steps a colour like this.........they're great!
seems like a good alternative to a hot tub. I'd like it, however, where I could look at the night sky.
the tile pattern is effective and simple
nice colour combos
I really like the colour contrast...........probably wouldn't use black, but perhaps a deep blue? yellow-green? flaming orange-red?
I like the wood instead of paint as a bottom contrast to the white uppers
process of shou-sugi-ban (charred wood) preserves wood. Can put linseed oil on to heighten effect and keep soot from coming off. Terrific texture!!!!!!!!!!!! And look. I'd have part of house done to contrast it with rest of siding.
I want a wet-room and like the sink; the large, white tiles; the glazed lower window with the leaves above. Nice to have a storage shelf in the door entrance.
good use of a 10' wide LR space. I'd put in shelving on either side of the fireplace
the covered entrance 'porch' with the rock face........great contrast in textures to the house
the colour is almost timeless. I would have the floor wood &/or the window frames wood; white duvet cover; warm coloured quilt at end of bed to go with wood frames. (Actually, perhaps not.)
I like the warmth of the wooden window frames reflected in the wall quilt and the bed blanket
I like the variety of pics on the wall; pulled together with all black frames and neutral toned pics. Couch pillows echo the black. Also, having 1 large, black piece on the wall pulls it together.
I like the low coffee table.................also, the piece on the fireplace wall could be done in fabric and be quite stunning
I like all the wood and simplicity (kind of) of the exterior. I'd change it up a bit.
I like the mix of materials on the exterior. Also, I like that the upper bedroom has a deck but I'd have 2 bedrooms if I had to chose.
The mix of materials...........Also, the big overhang on the upper deck.
excellent, compact area for lists; mags etc.
the pull-outs: excellent storage...........a MUST
I like how the wooden table embraces the counter
nice windowed cupboards. would be good with a counter below them.
I don't quite know why I saved this but the window at the end of the room is very appealing.
the movement that the design makes; the variety of textures
I like the layout, with the cabinet below the windows; the wishbone chairs & the wooden table; the series of 9 black and white photos, altho' a colourful lge. painting or grp of 4 would also be great.
I realize I've always LOVED a door coming into a space on the angle.
