Perhaps it's that High Point Market, a huge furnishings industry trade show in North Carolina, came on the heels of Earth Week this year, but from vendor to vendor we were thrilled to see Mother Nature so beautifully represented.
From spectacular chandeliers made entirely of shells to tables crafted from tree trunks, nature-inspired furniture and accessories are definitely on trend for spring. Many are made from reclaimed materials or came from sustainable sources, making this look one you and your conscience can enjoy.

As a recent NKBA Chapter meeting The event speaker was Rob Haley from Akzonobel in North Carolina.
Akzonobel do a lot of finishes for the top car manufacture (BMW, Mercedes), furniture lines, cabinet lines and many other products.
Rob talked about the trends in color as they trickle down from the leader which they consider is Fashion. Currently fashion week is going on in New York.
