We want part of the deck to have some wall framing and open covering above on which we could grow vines. I'm thinking around the corner near the Davidson's home. Maybe you do the same thing on the corner near the basement egress as well, and have the middle wide-open?

this is the goal: a long table for hosting a meal (like the Beltra's, Mary), but open to the sky (shade provided by vines) and railed in.

Attic bathroom-same bathroom as previous, from another angle-i like the subway tile, and use of another set of tiles including kid-made tiles. I like the shower set up--allows for others to use bathroom at same time.

Is this the color of the "natural" cherry? I like the contrast w/the dark granite/quartz. Also like the overhang on the island and the cabinets.
