It's tempting to write something about these bold floral patterns "not being your grandmother's chintz." But it some cases they are your grandmother's chintz. And there's nothing wrong with that.
The flower print has come a long way since Louis XIV, and there are lots of bold, modern floral designs on all manner of items, from rugs to walls. But there's no reason to take sides. Bold flower patterns are gorgeous whether traditional or modern, all over the place or sprinkled moderately. They can fit in almost anywhere. As always, it all depends on how you use them.

I got my Romo wallpaper from a local wallpaper shop that carried them. You might just have to call around. The pattern you like is called Kimura. The yellow is called Turmeric W205. I have it in Lacquer Red and I get compliments on it all the time. I also have another Romo in my foyer that people just seem to love. It's in the Rubani line and it's the Seraphine wallpaper in Alpine.
