Living Spaces Wow at Decorator Showcase
Top San Francisco designers remake a luxury home for the 2012 showcase, offering inspiration for your own kitchen, dining room and more
With a moss-covered fireplace, plywood painted backsplash, abalone shell chandelier and much more, the show home of the 2012 San Francisco Decorator Showcase brought out all of the stops.
Designers reconfigured the rooms in a stately 19th-century house, in San Francisco's well-to-do Pacific Heights neighborhood, in more modern layouts and outfitted them with gorgeous light fixtures, hand-painted details and lustworthy accessories. Luxe details, such as leather-lined drawer pulls, a rich mohair rug and an outdoor chandelier, showed up everywhere.

Fine Art & Portraits by Laurel There is nothing mild about San Francisco weather, so it doesn't beg for an outdoor room. It's cold, windy and sunny all winter, and cold and foggy all summer. The rooftop terrace is gorgeous, what a view! But that pergola and chandelier are gone with the first wind.

thegreenbee I think that "pantry" is more qualified to be called a galley kitchen. Since there is a designated kitchen space also, maybe it is more of a "bonus kitchen"? (Hot new trend alert! Haha)
