Becky Harris Have you seen "17 Again"? This is so like that nerd (Lt. Dangle from Reno 911, I forget his name) who makes all the money and buys every Lord of the Rings/Star Wars, etc. piece of memorabilia in that movie. I love it - total revenge of the nerds style!

jannie Oh, these rooms leave me speechless...which I suppose is appropriate for watching movies. However, the decor would make every movie a horror movie.

atomikblonde I really like the first one although it's the most modest. There's just a cozy feeling to it. It's a good layout for smaller homes belonging to the not-so-rich-and-famous.

Kathryn Peltier Design I really don't even get the exact point of media rooms - except for perhaps a movie once in a while, who goes in a totally secluded room to watch TV? Yeah, yeah, I know: surround sound and all the rest, but how often is this required? I agree with aeykelbo - if you have this much money, do something good with it. Yikes.

cklesert I like the 1st, it's like ours. We like the "media" (TV and Wii) room separate from the living room and rec room, so as not to impose on them.

Carolyn Zone9alady I don't see the need for a separate room either. All of our family and friends congregate in the great room and that's where we have the large screen and surround sound set up. Normally it's just my husband and I and we always watch movies together.
