marrakechmom's ideas
the drawers and shelves although longer space for rods needed for adult clothing...maybe one section with two rods for shorter items like shirts and skirts and one for dresses, slacks to be hung? Just a thought. Love not having to put big pieces of furniture in already small room that will get smaller if we take the present closet then have to build in another one
Kind of like the idea of tile that looks like breadboard in damp environment of shower.....looks good in pic but not sure
Color has blend of whites, gray and hint of brown which Bill likes. Need larger size tiles
Thinking again of reconfiguring. Mud room area best by door where you have the ovens and pantry. Could keep coats out of unit along wall and use that for storage and not have stuff across from cellar door then. No coats hanging there less messy. Put ovens and lower storage and upper storage over where utility closet is now? utility and some space for coats and boots etc go over where oven is now. Sorry for messing a rounds with ideas but I need this to work both visually and practicality wise. Maybe a small pantry can go there still?
soapstone for counters but concerned it will be too dark and heavy a look with wood cabinets...ideally contrast-
built in tray for utensils......
if we must do wood- like this simple style- pulls okay and I think they work better than the classic other style of pulls that I prefer with wood
spice rack better than corner turn table style- also like having storage slots for bakeware
don't like much but I do like having a beverage fridge if possible since a smaller fridge is just not enough for us
too bad I don't have more space- I love this stove's features- double oven, griddle, burners...alas!
sink!
island size nice- a bit too wide for my space maybe- like end drawers and the fact it is more like a table- perhaps visually too block like- maybe two deeper drawers and an open shelf underneath???Of course- just in my head- may not exist
big double farmhouse sink
classic nickel finish pulls nice
like pull out organization for pots but doesn't seem to use all of the space
like a pantry that maximizes storage space although I would not put plates in this
love weathered look table as farmhouse piece
bead board- looks good with subway tiling although I could never imagine it
love the colors and slate flooring- like the plain simple lines of cabinets
storage space
this is the best I've seen-
