Living Room Ideas
Mix of traditional and modern, warm feel
Is this what ours would look like? Just looks like a lot of furniture!
It's elegant, but homey and comfortable
Nice rich colours - I can see this looking good in basement
May be a way to make it look like not just a lot of furniture to have a fireplace between dining room and great room.
simple but very pretty
railing is different
railing - maybe a bit less bold
Wow! What's not to like! I would save the fireplace (my favorite thing) for the great room.
I like dark floors and stone/brick etc.
Again, dark wook, I do like the wood beams but again I accept it is not something that my work with this house.
If we were to go white, I like this style. I like the windows, the ceiling, the floor coverings etc. It just may be more formal than we want in furnitre design. I also don't see how our antiques would work here.
I like this. I wonder if it is better than full length and hanging my pants from press hangers.
I like drawers. I don't like just open shelves like I have now. I like it like my old closet.
The tie rack in interesting but as long as my brackets have a wall or space, I am OK with that.
The tie/belt area is neat. Is that a good use of space though?
This is cool for watches etc. I also may want my safe here and Susan's jewelry box.
I like that the hamper is hidden. I don't want it out in the open like it is now.
Ceiling - would look great with the 10 ft high ceilings
love the warmness! It's not dark, but stil warm. I really like the stone on the fireplace. Would want a gas fireplace.
tv turns into different rooms
like everything about this room! It's pretty and functional for a great room.
beams on ceiling really add a lot to the room. Its very rich. White furniture would not work for us though.
ceilig, windows, window coverings. I can see this style working with our antiques. White couches will not work though!
calm and serene colours
love the windows!
maybe too much brown, but it doesn't look like there's too much furniture. Possibly this is due to orientation of table and roundness of couch. It doesn't look too busy either.
an interesting layout
This layout would help with it not looking like a lot of furniture if we could make it work.
door/windows could work really well out to deck.
wall colour is very pretty.
colour combinations and wood
Nice flow. There is no separate dining room though!
Natural materials/colours. I also like the ceiling.
The wall colour might work somewhere as an accent colour.
Clean lines, sectional fireplace, details above fireplace
very pretty colours
