Here is my best quess..Start by dying the wood gray, seal and glaze then topcoat. These factory finishes are not complicated in procedure once the process has been developed. these atr mass produced items and time waste is not tolerated. The difficult part is determining a process that gives similar results that is controllable and consistant. the sample picture is a white wash over gray I was asked to reproduce. I got it on the third try, easy once the formula is determined. dye the naked wood gray spray on white sanding sealer very dry sand with #600 to expose uderlaying gray, burnish with #0000 steel wool and wax with clear wax.
