This is a fine example of working with oversized slab tile and incorporating a trench drain system and river rock. A shower like this would no doubt be build with two or more primary shower drains. These drains hidden from view by the river rock.
A shower built like this takes care in the execution the the order of installations.
Showers like this can be built and designed into any home. The further ahead the planning takes place the better.

| Safety is one of the primary reasons people and designers remove shower curbs. This beautiful shower floor was highlighted with a light blue LED to improve the users bearings in the shower. The light a reference point so the user can get their orientation.
Grab Bars and no curbs make a washroom much safer. Notice the pebble floor for slip resistance as well. Another great project from By Design Remoulding. |

One of my favourite bathrooms of all time. A bit of a stretch to call it level access but worth looking at closely. A lot of care has gone into building this dream bathroom and with a little forethought something similar could easly be built in your next shower project.
Perhaps the drop down tub is in a closet, over storage or in a pantry. With higher and higher ceiling heights this look can be achieved with ease.
I love this bathroom and hope to build something similar in the coming years.

With this bathroom tile layout and floor grading is key. If you look at the tile pattern on the floor you will notice that the a grout joint starts at the entry to the shower and the large format tile slopes to the back wall and a linear drain.
The linear drain in this photo looks like a mirror top stainless model from Luxe.
I love the custom soaker tub.
