Closed display cabinets up high for family kitchen treasures.
Think this is same cabinet with door closed
This is look I want from sitting room
Must have...bag storage? Not necessary can put them below sink.
Slate color is also nice, but might be confining for future updates.
Cabinet color change on south wall wrapping into sit rm. Slate looks good here.
low drawer for large pans & platters.
Range w/o micro above. Mantle treatment
Floor. Wide plank.
Double uppers. Only want glass in top ones
Range has warming shelf. Like board and bead under breakfast bar ledge.
Wooden counter top. Nice over all look Bar counter top?
Interesting ceiling...wood plank
Like two levels for flatware
Hi upper displays
Cream colored cabinets w/double bowl farmhouse sink. I own this one
Grey cabinets...drift wood?
Counter similar to Meg's. No drop.
Nice windows if you have no view
toe kick drawer
Top drawer to left of range. Like adjustability & sturdiness. (I think I am making up words, but you all get the idea.)
I'm 5'2" and shrinking!
For bar peninsula. Could it be done in front of bar sink by moving sink back toward back splash?? Probably not, but it would be a great location.
I don't put kitchen knives in a drawer but do want lots of flippers, stirrers, etc. to left of range.
Meg says the cross-hatch on these glass doors is the 1840 precursor to bentwood as in chairs. Research for a show set.
High display cabinets with glass doors.
Farm house kitchen. Note floor & ceiling.
Over kitchen sink/dishwasher?
Back kitchen/brkfst rm peninsula table height base cabinets. Continue as wainscoating in breakfast room to elevator door.
Schoolhouse lights below fans
Existing kitchen range looked like this...set into the old hearth. Might preserve the flavor with a version of this.
Might be an option for support for upper cabinets above peninsulas. Why glass? Could just be open between uprghts.
Pendant lights over sink
Old fashioned appliances are the buttery color I am considering for cabinets and walls
Pendants above sink. Variety of counter top materials...wood for chopping, marble for pastry, and the rest needs to be heat and stain proof.
Don't think I like different colors on base & upper, but it would create a horizontal eye motion to make the room appear "shorter" & "wider".
Upper glass door display cabs + that olive color
More simple than other mantle over range with hood. Use ashy faux brick to imitate old kitchen hearth. Hmmm. Those will get greasy and splashed with tomato sauce. Oh, dear. Back to subway tile? Actually this entire range set up would work. It has pot filler. Range itself is retro-esque. Commercial ranges are not self cleaning and I must have that.
I remember these doors below sink. I think I really want this. Could store root veggies under here.
Thought: treatment over sink to match range hood concealer.
Color? Cabinets darker than walls
Ashy brick look above range w/faux mantle concealing hood???? Most ordinary approach.
Above stove treaatment?
Glass over "pass"
Keep noticing these wooden ceilings...like porch ceiling. Dk Brown counter top
