olldbobbi I was very happy to see the pictures with blue furniture and accessories; when I had to make slipcovers for my outdoor furniture I chose denim fabric to get the best casual, relaxed, no-fuss look I could think of. I had already seen all the tropical and striped outdoor fabrics but they just didn't seem to give me the right "feeling". So far, it's worked out great! And if it fades in the sun, well that's just like wearing an old, comfortable pair of jeans.
