Perhaps the most left-brained of creative professions is the field of architecture. Architects are masters at blending science and art. It would shock me to find anything but an exacting, perfectly spaced and aligned inspiration board in an architect's space.

The hallmark of a right-brained creative type for me is the presence of chaotic creativity. Right-brained creators think of the large picture and then make it happen whether it is right or not.

So, now it is your turn. Please share your inspiration boards in the Comments below. Upload your photos, tell us about your boards and about your creative process. Are you a right-brained or left-brained creative? Does your inspiration wall reflect that? I'm curious to test my theory! More: Geek Chic: When Right and Left Brains Live in Harmony
Am not exactly sure what I am as prefer to catalogue my inspiration thus never use a board or a wall. For myself, I find a page of inspiration on paper with subcategories far more productive in attaining 'a means to the end'.
I can throw over those!
It fascinates me to no end to hear your responses and see the different ways people bring their thoughts together...you guys are awesome :)
On the other hand the creative juices never stop flowing. Oh, I could do this, Oh, I like that. I find what I like, then something else comes along and I like it too. Usually I do several different looks and end up picking a little from each one! I don't do a board though, I do it all on the computer with different files and using houzz ideabook - guess its a good thing Houzz won't let me save all the pictures in my ideabook to my computer!
I think I'm a creative lefty or a neat, organized, detailed righty.
But then I think, actually, I'm a confused mess that has no hope of knowing what the heck I'm doing!
