Board and Batten

Clean lines and a rustic look make board and batten a popular siding choice as well as a unique interior accent

Board and batten construction uses flat boards or panels placed together without overlapping, with the batten being the narrow strip of wood that covers the seam. Used as siding on exteriors or as interior paneling, sometimes it is referred to as barn siding because of frequent use on the exterior walls of barns.
