I like the scale of the column versus the scale of the post

Pergolas too big and too industrial for the scale of this property, we don't mind the freestanding aspect of the Pergola. I'm not a big fan of the short column supports.

we prefer a square fire pit to a circular one

We like the idea of stain concrete. But the sharp geometric lines that are cut into the surface are too unnatural and distracting to the eye.

Even though the shape of the tile and the layout isn't disagreeable to us, we don't like the variety of color, it's too much color, and two shiny.

Integrating a dream with the patio may be a good idea to help with cleaning

Integrating lighting into the patio is a very nice to have.

We prefer the plants to be in boxes as opposed to integrated into the patio

Finishing off the edge of the house edge of the patio like this is desirable because it is not a sharp drop off it eases one into the yard

Even with the textured stone in the snow surfaces the mossy feel is not what we're looking for we would like clean lines

Don't like stone

No flagstone, but if natural stone is used it should have a defined geometric pattern to it
