Would it be crazy to get one of those glass iced tea dispensers with a spigot and use that to hold your liquid detergent? I wonder if the spigot would be wide enough to allow the detergent to flow freely, or if it would clog. Hmmm...

A great collection of products for the laundry room! Adding any of them will add style to your laundry room and provide functionality as well. You can never have too many baskets!

Love your laundry room? would love to have a laundry room. My appliances are in the kitchen where visitors only seem to show up when I have piles of laundry on the floor and ironed shirts hanging from my doorway.I need a sign for my front door with picture of an iron and a bar through it warning my visitors not to come.

Very timely article as we are FINALLY putting my laundry room together in the basement! Having spent the last few years using the local laundymat....I NEVER WANT TO SEE ANOTHER rolling basket! I never used them there, interestingly enough.

LOVE THE ROLLING WIRE "closet" and I do want to add the drying rack. That large table on wheels with the storage underneath is awesome! It would be great for a craft room too!

I grew up in a small house with the ugly little laundry area in the cement basement. When we bought our first home, I was happy with a larger basement and didn't think at all about making the space pleasant. But in our current one-floor home, with laundry space continually visible and space at a premium, I loved the challenge of making that room as efficient and pleasant as possible (without hiring a contractor). My choice was to use the vertical space and find a way to hide everything I could, including our weekly recycling. It works!

I've seen drink dispensers with laundry detergent in many decorating photos. I don't know if it actually works. I would think it would, though.

You can use a basket to store your detergents so they are convenient, yet out of plain view like this laundry room...
