614 Odell Kitchens
Perron thinks this is fresh and clean looking.
The pendant lights are great
What do I like about this one? The stainless steel post holding the end of the island up.
Perron LOVES this.
This would have to have a more contemporary/modern look...(eg: flat panels and hip pulls), but I (Perron) kind of like the grey cabinets with darker floors.
This is an interesting mix of white and dark brown cabinets. Best of both worlds?
Here it is again.........
So Perron sometimes really likes white kitchens. I like the floor in this one, the white cabinets and grey countertops. I think if Mary's blue subway tile were used for the backsplash we could use something colorless for pendants and we'd have a nice look
Hmmm...would we like our kitchen in white?
And, one more for good measure.
And one more....heck it even has a great mid-century modern light fixture in the dining room beyond the kitchen
Another view of the same kitchen we like.
Another pic of the same kitchen we like. Note the lighter floors (like those present elsewhere at Odell). Also the light grey walls, white trim, etc. Classic. Clean. Contemporary.
We like this kitchen a lot. The layout (shown in other photos) is a lot like the Odell kitchen. Mary likes the light blue glass subway tile. If we did something like this, maybe we could just add some pops of color.
Perron LOVES this. Mary wants to add some color to the backsplash - she's currently into the light blue glass subway tile.
If we reconfigured things we could make a long (12 ft) skinny island with the sink in it - slightly off center probably
This is an option for adding to the current peninsula...We like the light fixtures in this too...both the one above the island and the one about the counter on the peninsula.
This is a little too stark for us - and doesn't fit with the modern, mid-century modern...but the skinny island is a good example of something we like is we reconfigure the kitchen....although that adds a lot of expense.
This is similar to other things we've liked. The bigger tiles for the backsplash are nice, but the space we have is probably too small for that. The single strip light over the island is ugly.
We like just about everything with this one.
This is a good example of lighter hardwood floors, dark cabinets, white (withe some movement) countertops, grey subway tile backsplash and good lighting. We prefer the flat panel cabinets to stay in the mid-century modern design scheme.
We don't care for the shiny pop of red - way too trendy. But the rest is classic and nice.
Keeping it simple
We like just about everything going on here -faucet, lighting, grey countertops and backsplash - even the mix of primarily white cabinets and then the one darker island/peninsula. We'd prefer flat panel cabinets though. We're not sure how this would look with lighter floors. Maybe a dark brown tile.....
Flip it around. Not sure we like the white cabinets and black countertop....but we could be convinced.
