Faiella Design: I LOVE the grey, beige and white wall and ceiling graphics in this bedroom. It's a fantastic and unexpected focal point.
by Faiella Design
Faiella Design: Anastasia creative thinking turned a period turn of the century home into a whimsical and not so serious ecletic interior. The mixed casual feeling is produced from the handwriting on the chalkboard upper wall and the slipcovered chairs.
by Faiella Design
Faeilla Design: As many of you know I have an affinity for dark painted ceilings and this room is no exception. That simple element give this traditional room a bit of dramatic and stylish twist.
by Faiella Design
Kate Michaels: The drought resistant plants pulled together here and mixed with containter planted succulents works well in it's California setting but still brings us to the Mediterranean. The colors are soft and warm and the landscape easy to take care of.
by Kate Michels Landscape Designer
Kate Michels: You just are tempted to go out anywhere in his garden and sit for awhile with your iced tea and a book. Clean and simple the container of flowering white plants adds a bit of interest.
by Kate Michels Landscape Designer
Aubrey Brandt: The subtle purple shade mixed with the gold and brass tones strikes me in an unexpected way. Even with all the details I find this bedroom rather soothing and beautiful.
by Audrey Brandt Interiors
Aubrey Brandt: I really like the use and emphasis of the vertical space in this kitchen and how the eye is drawn to the oversized exhaust hood. There is just the right about of color balancing off each other between the cherry cabinets and the neutral floors and ceiling.
by Audrey Brandt Interiors
Nicole Hollis: The balance of white and black in this dining room is amazing. The crisp clean lines of the celling, walls and wood furniture is juxtaposed beautifully with the curved black arm chairs and the round black light pendants.
by Nicole Hollis
Nicole Hollis: Rustic yet contemporary, Nicole once again shows how she balances sometimes such opposite design elements. It's a room that anyone would just want to relax or fall asleep in.
by Nicole Hollis
Nicole Hollis: What else can I say but an other beautiful room. I love the light filled space with the white cabinets and how the vintage chairs bring a casual-ness to the space.
by Nicole Hollis
Nicole Hoillis: This is such a cool, sleek and fun modern lounge style living room. Absolutely amazing.

On Saturday, April 25, 2009, the sold out opening night gala for San Francisco’s Decorator Showcase House featured the Bay Area’s crème-de-la-crème of the design world and their latest high-end creations. 32 of the most sought after artists and interior and landscape designers were assembled to transform every inch of the property at 2830 Pacific Avenue. The 10,000 square foot mansion by architect Nathaniel Blaisdell and completed in 1910 for George L. Payne, owner of Payne’s Bolt Works in the Pacific Heights area of San Francisco, has been completely reworked inside and out bringing a new life to a grand, historical home.
Let us meet some of these designers and view some of their past work to see why they were chosen:

• Anastasia Faiella:
-Principal Designer-Owner of Faiella Design
-About: Originally a painter and fine artist, Anastasia transitioned into interior design easily and has brought a unique artistic aesthetic to her designs. Unexpected elements from graphic florals on a bedroom’s walls and ceilings to handwriting on a dining room’s chalkboard upper walls definitely make her contemporary and transitional/eclectic designs desired all over the Bay Area.

• Kate Michels:
-Principal Designer-Owner or Kate Michels Landscape Design
-About: Kate’s love of and for the garden mixed with her art background drives her desire to create gardens that reflects each of clients personalities. Concentrating on Mediterranean themed gardens that use plants specifically native to Northern California, she is able to beautify a landscape while addressing issues like drought resistance.

• Aubrey Brandt:
-Principal Designer-Owner of Aubrey Brandt Interiors
-About: Being found throughout the industry, Aubrey’s experience, which began after studying interiors at Colorado State University, includes six years designing in Japan and being a lecturer at Parson’s School of Design in New York. Her work has been featured in numerous design magazines and her own home was exhibited on HGTV and even on Brooke Shield’s television show “Suddenly Susan".

• Nicole Hollis:
-Principal Designer-Owner of Nicole Hollis Interior Design
-About: Another designer with an artist aesthetic combining art with antiques, vintage pieces and amazing materials, Nicole has truly made her mark in the design work. Her work can be found from W Hotels, to wineries, restaurants and high homes in New York, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area.
