another angle. Note though, I am not so traditional that I would go for the obvious coastal hingham "ship paintings" and such- I like to be more eclectic with my art/fabric design choices. Like the plaid in the background is a no no here. but the print on the sofa= cool.

this shouts warm new england charm- i don't like the fabric design on chairs per say, but the neutral rug, wood coffee table, textured sofa with piping… speaks to me in general and I think is the "feel" my house calls for- this is sophisticated but very "cozy, comfortable/lived in"

one of my fav designers (besides you :-)
this is a drool fest of layers of color with neutrals and texture. the red piping on blue pillows, the orange and gray chair, the brown sofa, accents of green. Interesting and yet the color variations to me feel subtle, not too forced or staged.
