My family always has things to store. Whether it's our blankets in the winter or our summer party supplies, things always have to be put away. Luckily for us, there are oodles of creative options available that are both beautiful and utilitarian. — Shannon from Shannon Berrey Design
These raffia trays are offered in really nice usable sizes. I would use the smallest, 12" x 12", on a bedside table. The texture is so pretty, and it would be perfect for holding a few magazines.
Look closely and you can see the botanical images created from vintage wallpaper in these jewelry boxes. I love their vintage feel and think that my jewelry would be really happy sitting in here.
This iPad case has such a pretty vintage look. The outside is made of straw with scalloped metal-edge details, and the inside is soft vegan leather. Flip it open and it becomes its own stand.
I wasn't a fan of my school cafeteria lunches, but I fondly remember the stacks of pastel lunch trays. These vintage, compartmentalized trays would be so pretty for storing jewelry on a teenager's vanity.
This tray is gorgeous! Imagine it full of crystal decanters and glass bottles sitting atop a bar. The brass fittings have such a great patina and look so wonderful against the soft sheen of the worn chrome.
Hello, blast from the past! Remember the days when there were ashtrays on airplanes? Yes, kids, it's true. Well, here they are repurposed as the coolest storage trays ever. Wouldn't this be great on a man's dresser for storing loose change?
I know this vintage stacking tray was originally used in an office, but wouldn't it be a fun way to serve cupcakes? You could place the napkins and plates on the bottom tray and fill the top two trays with the cupcakes. And it would make transporting everything easy.
This plastic tray is almost too awesome to fill with anything. The black plastic and faux wood grain combined with the greatest font (which also contains some good reminders of what we all need to enjoy) make a wonderful place to drop your keys at night.
I would love to fill a backyard with a dozen of these hanging holders. For a brunch, I would fill them with water and float a peony. At night, I would add little votives. But, honestly, my most favorite idea would be to hang one in my daughter's room for her goldfish.
This extra large brass bucket just has the most perfect patina. And the great arched handle can be lowered or raised. This is a great way to serve all your chiiled drinks.
We all have umbrellas. I hate digging through the front closet for mine when I need it. This great wicker stand would be so helpful and beautiful at my front door.
Believe it or not, this lovely still-life painting contains an iPad. It's a one-of-a-kind case created from repurposed canvas and has a padded interior. It's perfect.
This bin is perfect for storing my son's dozens of baseballs. They can all be put away, yet he can still see them and reminisce about the the home runs, autographs and memories attached to each one.
