Guest Picks: Sweet Office Space
A wedding planner dreams of a home office that's simple, serene and seriously sweet
I spend a ton of time working in my home office, more time than most nine-to-fivers spend at work. So it only makes sense that I surround myself with furnishings and decor that I love and feel inspired by. A little bit of femininity and a touch of simplicity is the perfect recipe for my dream office space. — Rhiannon from Hey Gorgeous Events
Parsons Mirror Desk - $599
Maybe it's a bloggers' thing, but the Parsons desk from West Elm is a coveted piece by all. The clean lines and sleek finish make this desk a staple for any office.
Gramercy Sofa, Pewter - $779
I have this sofa in my office right now, and while it's not the most comfortable space to sit, it sure looks fab with a few throw pillows tossed on there.
Watercolor Peony Wallpaper - $148
If wallpaper wasn't such a pain to remove, I'd totally cover my entire space in this fabulous wallpaper. The floral print is so dreamy and soft.
Make History - AUD 595
I just discovered Penny Farthing's designs, and I cannot wait to get my hands on this "Make History" typography print. It's way rad.
Caneel Bay Bar Cart , Turquoise - $800
I love having a small drink station in my office to house beverages and small treats for people who visit. This Caneel Bay bar cart is the prettiest shade of minty blue.
Illume Boulangerie Jar, Coconut Macaroon - $16
My work days always seem a bit sweeter when I have a yummy candle burning on my desk. Anthropologie's Coconut Macaroon candle is my usual go-to.
Encore Console Table - $599
I've fallen in love — with this Z Gallerie console table. I'd give up my desk just to have this awesome statement piece in my office!
Pink City Maze Pillow
I'm a huge fan of Caitlin Wilson's pillows, and this Pink City Maze Pillow is one of my favorite patterns. Hopefully it will be back in stock ASAP.
Twig Display System - $99
Having photos of my work displayed in my office is so important, considering how visual my field is. I love how unique this Pottery Barn framing system is.
Chalkboard - $299.95
I'm currently debating over whether or not I'd like a chalkboard wall in my office, so this framed board is the perfect, and safest, route to take for now. To-do lists and inspirational quotes will look perfect drawn onto this chalkboard.
Canali Crystal Clear Molded Polycarbonate Side Chair - $274.99
I've always wanted a Lucite chair to sit at behind my desk. This set of two from Overstock comes at a price that can't be beat!
Personalized Classic Glass Hurricane - $68
I always set out fresh flowers on my desk. But putting those blooms in a vase finished off with my business initials would be the cherry on top.
Casablanca Dhurrie Rug, Steel - $249.95
A gray and white zebra rug currently sits in my office, but I'd love to upgrade to this dhurrie rug from Z Gallerie. It's chic yet understated enough that it won't take over the whole room.
Holman Ledge, Unfinished - $35
I love the look of a ledge like this for displaying magazines and books. Sometimes a room is too small for a coffee table, and a ledge is the perfect solution.
Maharani Chandelier - $3,200
If I didn't have a pretty fancy Lucite chandelier hanging from my ceiling already, I'd snag up this pink Maharani chandelier. It's so quirky and fun!

Words can't accurately describe how much I adore this fabric from Spoonflower. Anemones are one of my favorite flowers, and I'm looking forward to hanging my custom drapes made out of this print sometime soon.
Oversize Zinc Letters - $98
When I get the guts to fork over the money for these letters, I'd love to get an "H", "G" and "E" to hang on my office wall. I'm a huge fan of oversize typography, and the zinc finish on these letters is industrial-looking and so chic.
Rosy Knob - $6
Pink is a huge part of my business's branding, but it can be tricky finding that balance between too much pink and just the right amount in my office decor. These knobs are the perfect way to bring a pop of pink into any room. Pop a couple onto your closet doors and voila!
