luckykats I'm sure glad you noted that the books in picture #7 are actually on shelves! I thought - between kids and animals, that arrangement would have a one second life expectancy at my house!

Dena A collection of mirrors and old frames make a beautiful wall statement, or headboard. I've found that even discount-store cheesy plastic frames in orante "carved" designs can work (over a headboard nobody will be reaching up to touch them) if they are spray painted in ONE color, with variations in size, and many or all left empty -- no photo or artwork at all. This looks especially nice in matte white or cream, against a wall painted a rich, warm tone, like pumpkin spice, peanut shell, or chocolate. Hope someone finds this helpful!
