Designing for Couples: Tips for a Cozy & Content Home
Discovering how to please both partners in a relationship is one of the best tools I've acquired as an interior designer. Rarely does a couple completely agree on design style. It's my job to find a happy medium between feminine and masculine design elements.
Some of these solutions are aesthetic, such as mixing hard lines with soft accents, and others are purely practical. Supplying plenty of separate storage, generously proportioned upholstery, and minimizing the impact of flat screens are just a few well-used solutions to keeping a home happy!
