In honor of Mardi Gras, I have compiled an ideabook of spaces in none other than purple, green, and gold. During this elaborate carnival the three colors symbolize justice, faith, and power, respectively. For those of us who are celebrating from afar, adorn yourself in your best beads and behold a parade of inspiring spaces whose colors are steeped in a tradition of excitement and merriment.

Combine all three colors for a look that is interesting and dramatic. In the foreground, pastel colors in the living room provide a relaxing atmosphere. The same colors are intensified in the neighboring dining room giving the space a more lively vibe.
