Houzz is the new way to design your home.
I once had a dream to make for myself and my family a farmhouse that had 7 bedrooms, a Grand Men's room and a Ladies Room in the children's quarters, and a wrap around porch. There are aspects of this house that were in my dream. Amazing.
The color, the beams, the windows and light, the farm table, the amount of seating plus the bench, ... what's not to love about this house?
This is my house, I swear to God. Unbelievable. I LOVE it.
My mud room. WOW.
I am in love.
I LOVE this shelf. The chair color is great too!
I would feel so welcome coming home to this!
I love this drainboard. I was thinking just yesterday that it would be nice to have a sunken spot on the countertop to lay my towel after using it. I hate leaving it on top of the counter and have no place to hang it.
The floor tiles combined with the bead board walls, wainscoting, claw foot tub without the claw feet, the windows bringing in excellent light, even the tulips... I love it all!
Columns, light blue ceiling paint, trestle tables, porch.
I like this for a work space.
The Best Things in Life Aren't Things.
I love that the framed photos take up the entire wall.
This is awesome. Course, you gotta have stairs! And if you have stairs, don't forget to paint one step red, with two spindles (leaving everything else white), ala Joon. :)
I LOVE botanical prints.
Oh, this is even better!!
This is too cool.
What can I say about this exterior but OH MY. I want it.
I am drawn to Victorian style exteriors but this one is even more wonderful because it leans toward being mysterious.
Not just the lines on this house are beautiful but the colors are gorgeous.
What a FANTASTIC idea! Making a table part OF the island... I may use this. We don't have enough room for a stand alone table. And I gotta say, the WOOD is amazing.
Open shelving, green apples, yellow and brown coffee mugs, white, white, white, homemade bread and real butter and jam, real wood cabinets, wood behind the shelves, a window at the sink, a HUGE sink... it's ALL wonderful! Oh, and the apron! LOVE.
I just want to stretch out here and relax with a good book; take an afternoon catnap and recharge! What a great nook!
I really like the open shelving concept, and I love the jars in this photograph! I am trying my hand at putting up our harvest this year for the first time, and canning is on the list of "to learn" activities. Can't wait! Now for some open shelves while waiting on the garden to produce!
I could so MAKE this bed! I need to start gathering up some materials... GORGEOUS. And since my bedroom ceiling is slanted, this would be perfect!
There's that fantastic wood wall again. I'm so doing this. :)
An even better wood wall!
I love the red stripe. And the dedicated space too. :)
I love this. I need an outdoor shower. :)
This looks like my dream house, tin roof and all!!!
This would be great in Tim's bathroom.
"If we were here, we'd either be walking down this path or already sitting at the end, reading a Jane Austen novel."
Birch trees! Oh how I wish we had these in Texas!
Good night, what's not to like?!
Alex does this really well, adding her mark to a room or space.
This inspires me to continue working on my quilt!
