Just because something is utilitarian in nature doesn't mean it can't make a stunning design statement. Let's take clocks for example. The humble clock, when incorporated creatively, can be elevated to centerpiece status in a room. Check out this collection of rooms where clocks serve as focal points. It's sure to give you a little "timely" design inspiration.

Vintage clock faces add dimension to a wall grouping. Used en mass, they create a striking alternative to a typical gallery wall.

Nan I love clocks. I have a huge Herman Miller and a Cuckoo Clock purchased in Geneva - they are still in boxes from moving 6 months ago. They are being hung TODAY. I miss them!

denverglamgal I adore clocks! Does anyone know how I can find a good repair shop for an antique anniversary clock? It has a cord/wire coming out of the bottom...I believe it was hooked to a battery of some kind.

bat2 I'm almost certain that the two Swedish clocks are "Mora" and not "banjo" style. Banjo are usually smaller and wall hung.
