A Second Home for Active Adults

The Davis family wanted a home where they could enjoy their children and grandchildren. They wanted to get away from the Idaho cold during the summer months, so they chose to have a second home in Northern California. Not only did their home bring sunshine, it brought happiness through their design choices and summer lifestyle. Now it is a place they can call home.
As you enter the home, slate floor tiles greets guests. Collected items grace the entry and set the tone for the rest of the home.
The living area features a precast fireplace and a mantle that hold handcrafted items. Ralph Lauren furnishings and a kilim rug anchor the space.
Kilim pillows and a seagrass woven chair serve as the homeowners "special spot". Linen upholstery with down cushions add an extra comfort to the space.
Light beams through Hunter Douglas vertical blinds for a filtered light effect. When opened a view of the gold course is revealed.
Commissioned artwork and Guy Chaddock chairs and dining table add to the time worn feel.
Simply framed animal images sit upon seagrass wallcovering while creating an approachable feel in the office.
A desk complements built-in cabinets offering a functionally beautiful space.
With true Ralph Lauren influence, this guest space welcomes visitors to relax and rest while visiting with friends.
