DESIGN YOUR HOME
A & D Glass Inc.
Whether you want to see your glass, or see what's behind it, there's an option for everyone.
Clear glass is the most popular option, allowing you to see what's in your cabinet, and showing off collectibles.
Wood mullions add a classic feel.
One pane of glass is installed behind the mullions.
Clear glass isn't boring!
Many patterns add some interest, but still look fairly clear, such as seedy and new antique.
Others obscure details, or have very specific patterns to coordinate with your style.
Glass patterns can be flowy, or very linear, such as this reed style glass.
While you typically see reed installed vertically, this horizonal option is interesting.
This sleek obscure glass looks like a rice paper laminate.
Acid-etch replaces sandblast glass for a modern obscure look that cleans up easily.
Of course, you can have a custom pattern sandblast onto clear glass as well.
Cabinet glass can be ultra-vintage as well as ultra-modern. As with all things, what goes around comes around.
And sometimes it's just . . . out there. But if you really love it, go for it!
Cabinet glass is very popular in buffets and bars to highlight heirlooms and collections.
Another style of mullion bars creates a leaded glass look.
An underused niche becomes a modern bar.
A traditional take on a similar spot.
Cabinet glass can be used in all areas of your home to keep displays protected.
This is a great use of empty space, and the glass keeps little fingers away from the "pretties". We would recommend tempered glass here for added safety.
Bathroom cabinet niches keep necessary items close at hand and visible.
Another faux leaded glass treatment in a similar bathroom setup.
Keep in mind you don't have to use a square or rectangle piece of glass.
Acid etch in this bathroom breaks up an expanse of cabinets without sacrificing privacy.
As in our Versatile Acid Etch ideabook, this glass can reflect other surfaces, adding an extra shot of color.
Moving into your closet, these clear panes protect clothes while allowing you to see everything. This feels like shopping!
