When I see something for my home that I can't afford I usually obsess over it, crunch some numbers, lament my lack of funds... and eventually let it go. Not Tina Sindahl. She uses all that energy in a much more productive manner by getting creative and figuring out how to make her own.

With an IKEA cabinet, some upholstery nails and a hammer, she was able to make a piece that's almost identical to the one she fell in love with, but at a fraction of the cost. Doesn't it look incredible?

meanjean I added upholstery nails to a parsons chair (burlap material) around the seat area.....looks great. The decorative nails really add character to the chair.
