Marble used in the stairs up to the sunken bath tub is another unusual way to bring the material into daily use and tie it in to the rest of the bathroom finishes.
An uncommon use of marble in a laundry room. This room has a lot of style, but because its essentially a laundry room one need not use big marble floor tiles. Tiny tiles made of marble remnants are a way to bring in this special material into a room where no one would expect to find it.

I do keep track of stains, treating them as I see them. but I don't sweat the ones I miss. Maybe because I know the company that sold us the marble will come back every year to treat and seal it.
