The drum pendant light is commonly seen in kitchens and dining room. But this clean and simple light can be used in just about any room in the house. When used in living spaces, the drum pendant light is a flexible fixture that brings a different design element to the space. Here are 9 ways in which the drum pendant can solve specific design challenges in your space.

1. Use them as an alternative to table lamps. When there are space limitations and side tables just won't fit into the arrangement, a large drum shade made from a darker fabric provides the right amount and kind of light for a seating area.
