Architectural Design Elements
I love swimming pools, I always have ever since I was a child. It's a dream that I will never give up on... *sigh*
I don't even want to know what this must cost to heat in the middle of a snowstorm, but needless to say I'm intrigued and expect an invite to experience it come this winter!!
Colorful and simple, yet it looks completely luxurious and lavish! I dig.
There's something very retro and refreshing about this outdoor space with the white fence specifically. Not to mention looking at the warm jewel toned sky above, makes you feel like peace is just a dip away.
Open and exposed to the surrounding fields... I dig.
The coping around the edges with the large sized coping. Makes it have a nice clean and solid look.
I love the sun shelf!
I'm very into the stone steppers.
I really enjoy how the blue of the pool isn't so dark that it resembles a lake and yet is light enough without being too light to see the bottom.
Really enjoy the icy grey color of the pool bottom. It's different and sophisticated.
I don't even know why, but I love this!
so do you drink hot chocolate WHILE you're in this pool?
I like the full-length sun shelf that runs along the entire side of the pool and how at the edge of the sun shelf is the actual steps. Nice how you can still get in the pool but don't have to just sit on the edge in order to get cooled off if you don't want to fully get wet. Love.
I think I love this house more than the pool.
Tiny and nestled into a small space but it works.
This is pretty striking..
Sometimes I dream of living in the southwest with a swimming pool surrounded by the desert and an abundance of cacti.
The house is a little too contemporary for me. But I love the juxtaposition of the palm trees and how lush the grass around the pool appears. Looks like nature's carpet. Love.
I love the boulder as the diving board. great idea. I looks like it belongs in that environment.
Love this whole setting.
