Curtains for You! (6 comments)
I love these floral curtains - they're just feminine enough for the space, but not overly so. This is an amazing window, but it's a really big one, too. Curtains are important for privacy. And in this case, the closed curtains will be just as nice-looking as the open window.

Like the curtains above, this simple, small pattern adds a gorgeous decorative element to the whole space, making the curtains a pretty backdrop for simple decor.

I love this shower curtain from Urban Outfitters. It's simple enough to appeal to my minimalist tendencies, but it's definitely not boring.

Curtains aren't just for showers and windows, either. When I was little, I would've loved a tucked away bed like this one, complete with the potential for privacy.

This nursery is great. I love blue and chocolate brown, and floor to ceiling curtains are a great way to hide a messy or hand-me-down dresser that doesn't match.

Curtains add a layer of formality to an outdoor space - they're a quick way to bring indoor elements out. I love this outdoor room - and I can imagine closing the curtains in the evenings to keep noise in and (hopefully) bugs out.

When the walls are windows, privacy is important, but it's also crucial to keep the intrusion to a minimum. These simple, tailored drapes are perfect. When open, they don't get in the way, but when they're closed, they offer necessary privacy.

I like this room for its contrast. Like the room above, the potential for privacy is necessary. In this case, the dark curtains are a great match for lighter, neutral furnishings.

Loft spaces are amazing, but sometimes it's nice to do a little separation. Curtains are a great way to divide spaces without making permanent decisions.

I love these stripes. The colors are unexpected, but a great complement for the rest of the space. Because the pattern is contained in the curtains, the rest of the room is saved from looking overly busy.

That top photo - I know that fabric - is it IKEA, Marimekko, or Eames? Or someone else? I think it's IKEA. I LOVE that room so much - it's perfect.

I think it might be IKEA. They have great fabric. A lot of it reminds me of Marimekko, actually. But less pricey.

The shower curtain is really cute (I had no idea that Urban Outfitters sell shower curtains ). I also like the last photo with the stripes- any idea where can I get this fabric?

Window treatments are often the most overlooked final decorative touch. Thanx for reminding us! If anyone is looking for professionals or ideas check out Window Fashions Vision Magazine at http://www.wf-vision.com/.

The last photo is really great- I like the niche with the apples, the light fixture, the curtains- everything!

Emma_g - I don't, unfortunately, but I do love the combination of color and sheer. The designers are in Tel Aviv, too, so I'm not actually sure if it's something easily available in the states...
