bepsf I love Ocean Liners & Boats - so I have signed and numbered prints of paintings that were created for a number of Holland America Line ships, commemorative tiles and plates from a number of cruiselines, a set of Wedgwood Flying Cloud china that depicts various Clipper Ships, a collection of vintage impressionist paintings of boats - even a C Jere wall sculpture of a sailboat and a rug in my Den that is in the motif of oversized chain links which reminds me of anchor chains.

realtorbenjamin retro automotive pieces are amazing as designer pieces. I love the stuff they find on AMERICAN PICKERS on the History Channel. They find old Porcelin Gas Station Signs and what not; the vibrant colours and hand painted graphics are extremely catchy.

amberm145 That first pic is from a reality show where they had to renovate and decorate a loft using only garbage. It didn't catch on because the results were pretty awful.

ambiadecorator the show was called junk raiders! its premise was good - renovate being green by using others garbage - but when u have limited time - i'm sure its hard to find "good" garbage! lol. its was entertaining though. And it does make you think about how much we waste, and how we could reuse what we have before it becomes "garbage" to other people.
