Add Color to the Kitchen with Mixers, Pots and Espresso Machines

Want to add color in the kitchen? You could break out the paint rollers and drop cloths, consider a new counter or invest in expensive appliances in spectrum of hues. Or, you could reach inside your cupboard. If you've got a few pots or gadgets in fun tones, why not leave them out for all to admire? Not only will you save on the cost of a renovation, keeping those gorgeous cooking accouterments in plain sight might just inspire you to cook more (a gentle reminder I could always use).

Here, we've compiled some of our favorite kitchen accessories in every color of the rainbow. Not only do they look great, they work quite well too.

I found a red Le Creuset 7 1/4-Qt pot at a yard sale for $2! I have had it for 3 years and use it all the time. Red is my accent color so that was a wonderful bonus. We sold our house a year ago and are looking for one to buy. I'm looking forward to having my own kitchen again and leaving my pot out on the stove and my red Anthropology bowls on the counter. We use them everyday anyway! Great ideas--Thanks!

This is a lovely idea book! My favorite Le Creuset piece is my dutch oven in Flame. something about that shade of orange that makes me so very happy, not to mentioned that it is the workhorse in my kitchen.
