There is no disputing that discerning parents raise discerning kids. Kids are very opinionated little creatures, from fashion, to music, to what they eat, and even their bedroom's decor, they can tell you confidently their likes and dislikes. And if you miss the mark, you will never hear the end of it.

While these sophisticated kids think they have created the standard for their lifestyle, it is really the parents who have formed their perceptions through the life created for them. Next time your child makes specific request regarding his space, gauge your level of influence within that request. The findings may surprise you.
