Houzz is the new way to design your home.
Large round fireplace, dedicated built in entertainment center area, colors
Colors used in the space are nice, I like the archway, stone work, dark wood floor and dark wood cabinets. The little wine rack area is nice
The detail in the ceiling, stone wall accents adn the dark wood floors all make this area appear "rich" to me.
I like the rounded bar. Dark wood colors grabbed my attention initially but is also a great use of the corner space. The floor to ceiling built ins are a nice touch as well. The dark colored, sturdy appearing hand rails on the stairs is nice as well.
Very nice bar area.
I really like the idea of a hidden door.
Also very nice, so long as you can dim the lights.
Tray ceiling lighting is nice.
Very cool doors
I like the crazy curved arches and the use of the wood trim in the ceiling.
I like the clean lines and the woodwork.
Great idea for wine. We do not collect hundreds of bottles of wine, so something like this would suit us well.
Loving the woodwork in this photo.
Perfect, simple, don't need all the wood work if it is too expensive, but this would be the clean look I am looking for. I need approriate space for the speakers to fire against a wall and need space for upgrading to a 7.2 or more room.
Nice use of a smaller space for a wine rack. Would only want to incorporate a rod iron double door that we can lock to keep youngsters out as they get older and a little more experimental.
again, just a huge fan of stone and dark wood work together.
I don't know where I would want to put this, but I like the symmetry, rod iron, stone, crown molding on the tray ceiling and the rope lighting...I like it all.
Cool idea to block windows in a dedicated theater room.
interesting use of lighting under the bar top.
I like the fireplace. the black against the light stone as well as the way the fireplace appears longer with a small surround. It looks "clean" to me.
another interesting use of a smaller space for wine rack.
Hidden Passageway Custom Bookcase Door
Really cool idea for a hidden door transition to unfinished portion of basement/storage area of basement assuming both doors opened up 180 degrees against either wall to allow unfettered access through the door with things that need to be stored.
Cool idea for an in home gym.
hidden doors are cool. Having something like that to transition to the storage/unfinished area of the basement or to cover up the existence of utilities such as an upstairs furnace in a 2 story.
Loved everythign about this from the colors to the use of stone and general layout.
like the wood beam placement above the bar and the center island. like the interior stone work with the shelving, perhaps a future project for the bar area.
Everything about this is awesome - love the pillars and the stonework. Really like the backsplash, under cabinet lighting and small lights above tv to accentuate the back splash a little more. Cabinets flush with ceiling.
Fireplace, stonework, beam work, ceiling mounted projector, trimmed stop down to the media room
trimmed in fixed screen with room on either side of the screen for L/R - for our application would want room for very large sub and center channel behind the screen (acoustically transparent screen)
