Typical bright walls and white or cream painted cabinetry with a few pieces of dark wood or black furniture as focal points. Detail in molding and trim. Dark wood plank floors, tray or coffered ceilings, traditionally paneled walls. Neutral accent colors: pale grays, green, blue, beige. Subway tiles, carerra marble. Modern lighting work well with this theme.
