8 Things an Architect Will Never Say
Architects are people too. But it doesn't mean they talk like everyone else

There are certain phrases that are innately nonarchitectural. Not that phrase, of course. But other less wordy, more direct phrases. I mean, that phrase had the word "innately" in it, so it's definitely architectural. But some things you just don't expect to hear from your designer, like, "I don't drink coffee," or "We should experiment with color," or "I don't worry about the economy."

Like these, for example.

| So, what if your architect says one of these phrases? Obviously you have mistaken him or her for someone else. But don't worry. It happens to me all the time. All the photos are of Le Corbusier's Notre Dame du Haut chapel, in Ronchamp, France, which is totally something an architect would say. |
