I love to give dinner parties, and I collect plates, silverware, platters, glassware and table linens. Summer dinner parties get some casual yet elegant touches. Let me show you where to get a few of my favorite things. — Valorie from The Visual Vamp
The "tablecloth" is actually brown paper printed with giant forks, spoons and knives. It comes in a huge roll, so you get many "tablecloths" from it. The best thing is that there's no washing or ironing!
You could also use these fabulous paper placemats with this wonderful seaside design. They come on a huge pad of 50. Just tear off what you need, and toss them after your dinner party.
I have had my vintage lobster plates for 20 years. I found them in an antique shop. Replacements will search its inventory and find a similar set for you.
I love these oversize rocks glasses with a Gulf Coast motif. Proceeds from their sales go to saving the coast and wetlands. These are great for cocktails, but they would make great water glasses when paired with wine glasses on the table.
