I love the dark wood, stainless steel and white cupboards. Wuld love colour in there maybe in a cool counter top. Maybe even two countertops: one on the island and one the counter. Love openness to dining area to right. Love the look of the kitchen as it faces you.

I love the wooden table being used as an island. I have seen this in a house in New Orleans and it had a marble top. I LOVED it.
