marycatheryn's ideas (Oceanside Home)
An abundance of space so crisp, classic and seaside spectacular. Blends very well transitioning onto the sun room where family can congregate, relax and enjoy afternoon or early evening meals.
Works very well with the open floor plan I have in mind for a family seaside home. Great space to spend casual comfort time. I have an infinite love for white with neutrals, affording me the option to splash colors and change them out inexpensively.
Absolutely love the design of this closet space. Furnishings, not so much, however, placing the vanity in front of windows revealing natural lighting is genius! Placing it so it flows with the masterbath and bedroom would be favorable, if fact, necessary.
Completely smitten with this concept! This is the first time I have discovered what I would really embrace in a master bathroom/spa. The fixtures are not quite my taste, but so easy to change while staying true to the integrity and beauty of the design.
Breathtaking and rendering me speechless!
1 of 3 Guest bedrooms for family and friends. I would stay well within the cool and relaxing color pallet, however change some of the furnishings to reflect a more traditional seaside design.
2 of 3 Guest bedrooms. Absolutely love everything about this design. The designer was bang-on with placement, color pallet, furnishing and accessories.
"The Master Bedroom" w/ walk-out offering a breath taking view of the ocean. Love the layout, fireplace and color pallet. Would work well transitioning into the favored walk-in closet and Spa Bath. The ceiling would be a definite change out!
3 of 3 Guest Bedroom. Another fantastic design for a large Oceanside family home. Furnishings and colors are crisp, clean and cozy. Placement of furnishings add a nice look to what could have otherwise been typical and boring.
Excellent Guest bath for GB1. I have an obvious love for white millwork and light neutral textural finishes. Tastefully simple and spacious without wasting footage.
Guest bath for GB2. Again, light and spacious with great fixture choices, color pallet and textured elements.
Guest bath 3 for GBr3. The spaces work very well together in design, color, space and textures. Keeping withing the scope of the style and space, this bathroom would easily please family and friends.
This entry expresses a cohesive flow into the home, drawing you directly into the family and kitchen areas. The beauty is in the simplicity of color, flooring and craftsmanship of the trim.
Integrating this space into the floor plan I currently have laid out would work wonderfully for the ocean front home I am trying to create. Some modifications would be necessary, however this is the dining area setting I have imagined for entertaining family and friends.
The colors and textures is what has captured my senses for this well proportioned powder room. The fixtures work so well together with the cabinetry/storage strategically designed to disguise it's utilitarian purpose. Very nice.
