The Plaza Effect
I'm not generally a fan of a monochromatic look, but here it really works! The pale wood, the greys, the white trim. The high ceilings and open concept LR/DR/K/Bar also work and I love the light. The windows are wonderful! The side tables behind each sofa make the lounging area so inviting. The parallel structure seems so dramatic, but the color and furniture add so much comfort and subtlety. There's something cool and dramatic like the Plaza about this place. The floors are slick and shiny, but they also have nice rugs. So well done. So luminous!
This place is grand. It's makes a statement. I wouldn't want it, but the high ceilings are cool, the huge windows with tropical plants outside, the gigantic paintings anchor the space and I love that emphasis on art.
